Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Spiritual Discipline of Daily Prayer
Ask God to give the sick, sorrowful, and suffering His peace and strength. Pray for those experiencing physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and family struggles.
Pray for the men to be godly fathers, husbands, and leaders. Ask God to help church members become men of integrity in their communities.
Ask God to bless your pastor, the music directors, and all those who teach. Pray that God will speak through teachers and use them to help the church grow closer to Him.
Pray that the women of your church will be godly wives, mothers and leaders. Ask God to help church members become women of integrity in their communities.
Pray that God will protect the young people—from toddlers to teens—from illnesses, accidents, temptations, and predators. Pray that they will grow up to be strong men and women of God and that, even as youngsters, they will lead others to Him.
Ask God to build strong families within your church. Petition God’s help for any families currently struggling.
Pray for spiritual growth. Ask God to give all members a hunger for God and a yearning to share Him with the lost. Ask God to remove any barriers holding your church back from growing spiritually.
